Volunteer Hospital Administration Consultant in Liberia at Curran Lutheran Hospital (CLH)

Do you have an interest in making a difference on a global basis?

Have you always wondered how you could use your knowledge to assist others?

Current GHM Consulting Needs: GHM Consulting is looking for an individual to volunteer as a hospital administration consultant serving with a team to support CLH in Liberia. The purpose of the consultation is to assess the operational functions, including administration, HR, finance, and procurement of CLH. The consultation team includes an individual who has lived and worked in Liberia, as well as support in the US.

Expertise: The individual should have a background in hospital administration. Experience working in a developing country would also be beneficial but is not required. The project objectives are to:

  • Bring CLH back to its pre-civil war status as a thriving hospital.

Time commitment: This is a 3-year project. During the three years we anticipate 1-2 visits to CLH each year. Zoom calls with the team will occur monthly during the first year and quarterly thereafter. Costs associated with travel would be covered by GHM.
