Your Support is Training Madagascar’s Next Generation of Nurses

Founded in 1956 by American Lutheran missionaries, the Lutheran School of Nursing in Madagascar (SEFAM) trains nurses for some of the country’s most under-resourced Lutheran hospitals. In 2005, SEFAM expanded its mission to increase the number of nursing graduates to serve the national Lutheran health system and strengthen the quality of its nursing education. Today, SEFAM is recognized by the government as one of Madagascar’s top nursing schools, thanks in no small part to your support.
