Global Health Ministries is a volunteer-powered organization! It takes more than 2,100 volunteers a year to make this ministry happen and we are blessed with faithful friends who have served for decades plus a growing number of new volunteers!
There is room for YOU or your GROUP to help the hands that heal!
From office help to packing shipments; From hands-on projects in congregations and homes to consulting internationally; Whatever your gifts, you can have an impact around the globe!
Are you looking for a way to make a difference? Now’s the time to get involved with GHM! We are hosting Volunteer Orientations on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. Come and learn about GHM and explore what it’s like to volunteer in our warehouse.
As we kick off the summer season, we’re excited to welcome youth groups to sort and pack donated medical supplies, or help with quality control checks on rolled bandages, for example. Some congregations send adult groups regularly to help sort and prepare items for shipment. All are welcome – no medical expertise required, just a heart for service! Contact John Scheck at 763-586-9590 to schedule a time to come in, or stop by for Orientation on the first Tuesday of the month!
Most of our volunteer activities take place at our warehouse in Fridley, MN, but people from all over volunteer through hands-on projects and by being a Champion for GHM in their congregations or communities, inviting us to visit to share our story, speaking on our behalf or raising funds to support our work.
If you are a medical professional, we can put your skills to work in the fine sort room identifying and processing donated materials that go all over the world to heal people’s injuries, diseases and distress.
We need you! Every other month volunteers come to GHM on Wednesday to help collate our newsletter and prepare it for mailing. Are you interested in helping out? If so, call us at 763-586-9590 and talk to Wanda. Listed here are the dates for 2016:
