Please join us for Global Health Ministries’ 2016 fundraising Gala - a special evening celebrating stories from around the world of lives changed!
The evening will include live and silent auctions, a fund-a-need opportunity, food and fellowship. Your participation will help GHM provide scholarships for aspiring nurses and medical officers in Tanzania and Madagascar, training for village health workers, and consultation for leaders who offer health and healing to some of the world’s most vulnerable people.
Join us at Columbia Manor in Minneapolis on Friday, April 22nd, at 5:30 p.m. Visit our registration page for tickets, or call the office at 763-586-9590 for more information.
What's the Need?
Improved financial management, leadership development, and governance for long-term viability of international partner health systems. GHM’s consulting arm, Global Health Administration Partners (GHAP), offers consultations to enhance the administrative capacity of overseas partners.
More trained health professionals - the acute shortage of nurses and midwives has a direct impact on maternal and infant mortality rates.
Continuing education for local medical officers and allied health professionals, developing their skills to provide quality care and specialized services.
Training for village health workers in basic first aid and preventive measures - more than 80% of disease can be prevented in villages where VHWs utilize this training.
