I’ve been with GHM since February 1998. While working at the MN Historical Society, I learned of GHM through Heidi Grosch, Ken and Rosalie’s daughter, and the need for staff to assist with warehouse and shipping. I love GHM, and feel called by God to share my energy and passion for Lutheran medical missions.
My greatest joy is to receive a request from a partner overseas for a critical piece of equipment, source the item via donation, ship the item direct to the partner via traveler or container, and then to hear and rejoice that the item made a difference in the lives of others. Praise God!
Outside of GHM, I enjoy volunteering with Boy Scouts and teaching Sunday School, and hobbies include camping, boating, hiking, and reading with my wife Heather and our two children, Olivia & Henry.
My favorite meal is fish pepper soup from Liberia, although I declined to eat bush meat stew because of monkey used as the meat.
My favorite bible verse is Micah 6:8,” He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.”
