Warehouse Volunteers

Group of young volunteers holding medical sponges in GHM's warehouse

We can’t do it without you!

Global Health Ministries’ (GHM’s) Warehouse Volunteers receive, sort and prepare donated medical items for shipment overseas - no medical expertise required! If you are a medical professional, we can put your skills to work in the “fine sort” room identifying and processing donated materials that go all over the world to help the hands that heal.  And if you have repair experience, particularly of medical equipment, we could use your help!  All of the medical equipment that is donated to GHM is tested, repaired as needed and certified before sending overseas.

GHM also welcomes groups of volunteers - Sharing a volunteer experience at GHM’s warehouse can be a great way for groups to connect. Churches, hospitals, local companies and small groups from college reunions to running clubs engage in team building or service programs through GHM. And we’re always excited to welcome youth groups to sort and pack donated medical supplies!  Although there’s no need for individuals to sign up to volunteer, we do ask that groups contact us to work out the details. Send us a message via the form below, or give us a call at 763-586-9590.

GHM’s warehouse is located at 7831 Hickory Street NE in Fridley, Minnesota, and volunteer times are between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Volunteer times are flexible, anywhere from 2 to 8 hours between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday. If you’re new to GHM, we’re happy to have you come check us out, and if you do decide to volunteer, there will be an orientation to welcome you. There’s no need to sign up or make an appointment to volunteer, unless you are bringing a group. If you are a group leader, please use this form to let John know when you’d like to come, how many are expected to be in your group and how to contact you. Thank you!
