A pioneering effort in developing an integrated information system adapted to mission hospital requirements. A software developer from Madagascar with a record of success in his own country was found and evaluated by the Cameroon leadership to provide them with a customized, French language system. Advance gifts have brought this project within reach of completion. Goal to complete: $15,000
Materials Manager (GHM Project #09-P8012) Proper management of medical supplies and equipment shipped by GHM to OSEELC, the Cameroon Lutheran Church’s health system, requires a specially trained person. Goal: $5,000
Human Resources Training (GHM Project #09-E1105) A training program to enhance the personnel practices of OSEELC, the health system of the Cameroon Lutheran Church.

Cameroon shipping of medical supplies & equipment (GHM Project #09-S0000)
In collaboration with Saint Mary's Duluth Clinics, annual shipments of supplies and equipment are sent to the three hospitals of the Cameroon Lutheran Church's health ministry (OSEELC), Ngaoundere, Garoua Boulai, and Ngaoubela, and the many rural health centers and dispensaries each hospital oversees.
09-D1042 Cameroon-Palliative Care Training Program. At Ngaoundere Hospital, a nurse and social worker have been selected for advanced training for the program of home care for the terminally ill. Once training is completed, patients will benefit from the strengthened capacities of staff, and the program will be eligible to generate needed revenue through serving as a training center for students in hospice care.
